T.E.A.M. Project Kick-Off Meeting in Italy
On 13–14 November 2025, the T.E.A.M. project partners came together in Italy for the project’s Kick-Off Meeting, marking the beginning of the 24-month European cooperation. The meeting provided an opportunity for partners to discuss the project’s objectives, work plan, responsibilities and upcoming activities, while establishing the foundations for effective collaboration throughout the project. Through Basketball, Soccer and Volleyball, T.E.A.M. will use team sports as a learning environment to help young people develop key employability skills such as teamwork, communication, leadership and problem-solving, while promoting social inclusion and strengthening connections between young people and the world of work.
1st Sports Employability Event in Matera, Italy: Volleyball
On 10th July 2026, ASD Cultura organised the 1st TEAM Sports Employability Event in Matera, Italy, starting with the participant registration and a brief introduction to the TEAM project and the objectives of the activity. The event took place before the final of the “Torneo della Bruna” volleyball tournament. Participants then took part in team-building exercises designed to build trust and create a positive group atmosphere. The main part of the event consisted of volleyball-inspired team challenges, focusing on communication, trust, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Ater the practical activities, participants engaged in a guided reflection session where they discussed the skills they had used and how these relate to education, employment, and everyday life. The event concluded with a short employability and CV discussion, participant feedback collection, and networking opportunities. All participants were given the project t-shirt.
2nd Sports Employability Event in Matera, Italy: Football
On 15-16 July 2026, ASD Cultura organised the 2nd TEAM Sports Employability Event in Matera, Italy, starting with the participant registration and a brief introduction to the TEAM project and its objectives. The event took place over two days during the matches of the “Torneo della Bruna” football tournament. Participants then took part in team-building exercises designed to build trust and create a positive group atmosphere. The main part of the event consisted of football-inspired team challenges, focusing on communication, trust, collaboration, and problem-solving.
After the practical activities, participants participated in a guided reflection session where they discussed the skills they had used and how they apply to education, work, and everyday life. The event concluded with a brief discussion on employability and CVs, a feedback session, and networking opportunities. All participants received a project T-shirt.
1st Sports Employability Event in Nicosia, Cyprus: Volleyball
On 19 May 2026, CSI organised the 1st TEAM Sports Employability Event in Nicosia, Cyprus, at the beautiful Gardens of the Future. Through interactive volleyball-inspired activities, young participants strengthened key employability skills such as communication, trust-building, teamwork, adaptability, and collaboration, highlighting how sport can support youth employability, social inclusion, and personal development.
